The Baking Club

In 2013 Joe Munns and two friends started a small company based around the idea of supplying subscription baking kits to the general public. The ingredients would be supplied and weighed out precisely so that the nation’s favourite cakes and cookie could be baked to perfection at home. Joe’s brother Patrick soon joined the company and from then on the company grew at pace and gathered unstoppable momentum.

Wanting to mark the success of Baked In, Joe and Patrick approached Jon Croft Editions with a view to creating a collection of recipes that would appeal to both novice bakers and yet also allow more experienced bakers to add their own spin and build up their baking repertoire.

Jon Croft and his team of long established publishing industry professionals set to work to help realise Joe and Patrick’s vision.

Small and perfectly formed, The Baking Club cookbook was meticulously assembled with chapters for Round Tin recipes, Baking Tray recipes, Square Tin Recipes, Loaf Tin Recipes an Muffin Tin Recipes. 50 mouthwatering recipes in total, all photographed and beautifully captured by Lauren Mclean.

Published in 2020 The Baking Club has enjoyed a number of reprints and is sold through Baked In's subscription service, also online and via their social media channels. The book is a testament to Baked In’s vision and the entrepreneurial skills of Joe and Patrick Munns and the whole Baked In team.
