Design
From initial concept to print-ready files, our designers will work with you to offer a unique look for your project. We work with award-winning photographers and food stylists, to assemble the right team to bring your recipes to life, with our own prop collection to shoot with. Our props are also available to hire so please enquire, if you so desire.
Editorial
We can work with you to find an author or recipe developer to match your brand ethos and produce great text and recipes, backed by experienced recipe editors and proofreaders to ensure all text meets high editorial standards and is in line with your brand voice. Ensuring recipes work for readers in a domestic setting is a key part of what we do, and we work with experienced home economists to make this happen.
Publishing
We will manage all the necessary steps to make your project a reality, including registering an ISBN for your project. We will get you the best price possible for any quantity of printing, including paper sourcing, cover finishes and delivery of the bound books. Our project manager can oversee all of the above, ensuring that everything is done within your schedules and budget, working closely with you each step of the way.

AWARD-WINNING COOKERY BOOKS
It all started 42 years ago with a strange idea to publish a critical guide to the 80 or so takeaways in Bath, Somerset. It proved a surprise success and Absolute Press was born, founded by Jon Croft. There followed a number of ground-breaking collections of recipes from the UK’s leading chefs, from Keith Floyd to Tom Kerridge.
In 2011, Absolute Press was sold to Bloomsbury Publishing, with Jon Croft agreeing to act as Consultant Publisher with his team continuing to acquire authors and edit and design books for the list. In 2022 Jon Croft became Publisher at Large for both the Absolute Press list and also the Bloomsbury cookery list.
Jon Croft Editions was founded in 2012 with a mission to publish beautiful books for leading restaurants, chefs, hospitality brands and food companies.
